Aptamil Growing Up Milk 1-2 Years 800g is a fortified milk drink tailored to support your toddler as part of a varied, balanced diet. When your child turns 1 year, it marks the start of many 'firsts'. With their bodies changing fast, so do their daily nutritional needs.

Aptamil Growing Up Milk 1-2 Years 800g is to be used to complement a varied, balanced diet and is based on whole milk with specific nutrients your toddler needs between 12 and 24 months. Because your toddler needs around 4.5 times the amount of Iron as an adult male (across a varied diet) this solution has been enriched with Iron and Vitamins A, C and D which support successful bone development at such an important part of their lives. In fact, it contains at least 100% of your child's recommended daily amount of Vitamin D.

Aptamil Growing Up Milk 1-2 Years 800g should only be given to children over the age of 12 months. Please ask your healthcare professional if you require further information. When you bottle feed, it’s best not to allow prolonged or frequent contact of milk feeds with your baby's teeth. This can result in an increased risk of tooth decay. We also advise that you clean your baby's teeth after the last feed at night.

As powdered milks are not sterile, you should follow instructions below to prevent your baby becoming ill:

  • Wash hands and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturers' instructions.
  • Boil 1 litre of fresh water and leave the kettle to cool for no longer than 30 mins.
  • Measure the recommended amount of water into a sterilised bottle. Do not use repeatedly boiled water.
  • Using the scoop provided, level off the powder and do not press/heap the powder.
  • Add the correct measure of powder to the water.
  • Cap the bottle and shake well (for 10 seconds) to dissolve the powder. Remove cap and replace with a sterilised teat.
  • Cool the bottle under running tap or in a bowl of cold water Check temperature of and feed immediately.

Make up each feed as required and do not store made up feeds. Discard unfinished feeds as soon as possible, and always within 2 hours. Do not heat feeds in a microwave as hot spots may occur and cause scalding.

Aptamil Growing Up Milk 1-2 Years 800g needs to be stored in a cool and dry place. Please do not refrigerate and use the powder within 4 weeks after opening. Be aware that Aptamil Growing Up Milk 1-2 Years 800g is not suitable for babies below 12 months of age.
