Nappy Cream

Nappy rash affects most babies and can be caused by many things such as prolonged contact with a dirty nappy, antibiotics, alcohol-based wipes or a reaction to bath products. The general signs of nappy rash are red skin on and around the nappy area, sometimes with raised spots, and the skin can be hot to the touch. Nappy rash can be managed by using a protective barrier cream to save nappies from irritating your baby's skin and to encourage healing. To help prevent nappy rash, make sure your baby's nappy is changed regularly, that your baby is completely dry after bathing before putting a nappy on, and allowing your baby to have as much nappy free time as possible. Just remember to keep a nappy close in case there are any accidents!
