Aptamil First Infant Milk From Birth 800g is a nutritionally completed formula. The product is suitable for babies who are being combination fed or solely bottle fed. Aptamil First Infant Milk From Birth 800g is suitable from birth onwards and is also enriched with iron which helps to support normal cognitive development.

The formula of Aptamil First Infant Milk From Birth 800g also contains Calcium and Vitamin D. They are both essential for bone development. Aptamil First Infant Milk From Birth 800g’s another ingredient is DHA. It helps to develop and maintain a healthy nervous system. Aptamil First Infant Milk From Birth 800g also contains whey protein, which is known to be digested similarly to breast milk.

Breastfeeding is recommended for all babies. Use Aptamil First Infant Milk From Birth 800g on the advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian, pharmacist, or other professional responsible for maternal and child care. When you bottle feed, it’s best not to allow prolonged or frequent contact of milk feeds with your baby's teeth. This can result in an increased risk of tooth decay. We also advise that you clean your baby's teeth after the last feed at night.

As powdered milks are not sterile, please always follow instructions below to prevent your baby becoming ill:

  • Wash hands and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturers' instructions.
  • Boil 1 litre of fresh water and leave the kettle to cool for no longer than 30 mins.
  • Measure the recommended amount of water into a sterilised bottle. Do not use repeatedly boiled water.
  • Using the scoop provided, level off the powder and do not press/heap the powder.
  • Add the correct measure of powder to the water.
  • Cap the bottle and shake well (for 10 seconds) to dissolve the powder. Remove cap and replace with a sterilised teat.
  • Cool the bottle under running tap or in a bowl of cold water Check temperature of and feed immediately.

Aptamil First Infant Milk From Birth 800g needs to be stored in a cool and dry place. Please do not refrigerate and use the powder within 4 weeks after opening.

Please be aware that the product contains Fish, Fish Oil, Milk, Lactose, Whey, Whey Protein Concentrate, Soya, Soya Lecithins & Sulphate. Do not use Aptamil First Infant Milk From Birth 800g if your baby has an allergy to any of the ingredients.

How to use

How to use Aptamil First Infant Milk From Birth 800g

As powdered milks are not sterile, you should follow instructions below to prevent your baby becoming ill.

  • Wash hands and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturers' instructions.
  • Boil 1 litre of fresh water and leave the kettle to cool for no longer than 30 mins.
  • Measure the recommended amount of water into a sterilised bottle. Do not use repeatedly boiled water.
  • Using the scoop provided, level off the powder and do not press/heap the powder.
  • Add the correct measure of powder to the water.
  • Cap the bottle and shake well (for 10 seconds) to dissolve the powder. Remove cap and replace with a sterilised teat.
  • Cool the bottle under running tap or in a bowl of cold water Check temperature of and feed immediately.

Make up each feed as required and do not store made up feeds. Discard unfinished feeds as soon as possible, and always within 2 hours. Do not heat feeds in a microwave as hot spots may occur and cause scalding.
